Returns Policy

1. Introduction

This Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all returns, refunds, and cancellations for products purchased from homehashhub.com (“Site”) by HomeHashHub (“we”, “us”, “our”).  
It forms part of our [Terms and Conditions](https://homehashhub.com/terms-and-conditions).  
We aim to ensure fair handling of your requests, but due to the nature of our electronic products (e.g., open source hardware devices), returns are strictly limited.

3. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it is shipped for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping fees). Once the order has been shipped (tracking provided), cancellations are not possible. 

You can cancel the order via online platform or via email support@homehashhub.com with your order number immediately after placing the order. Once a cancellation request is raise, we will confirm if the cancellation was successful.

4. Returns

Due to the electronic components and technical nature of our products, Returns are accepted only under specific conditions as below:

Unopened Products: You may return unopened products in original, undamaged packaging within 3 days of delivery for a full refund. The box must not be opened, and the product must not have been used or tested or plugged in.

Defective Products: If the product is defective (e.g., does not power on, manufacturing fault), return it within 3 days of delivery. We will inspect upon receipt and issue a full refund if the defect is confirmed (see Refunds section). You must provide the details of the issue along with digital evidence photos, videos when initiating the return.

Non-Returnable Items:

- Opened, used, or tested products. ʉ۬

- Personalized or custom-built items. ʉ۬

- Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or user modification. ʉ۬

- Shipping-related issues (e.g., delays by carriers).

Return Process:


1. Contact support within 3 days of delivery with order details and reason (photos required for defects). ʉ۬

2. We will issue a return authorization (RMA) and shipping label if approved. ʉ۬

3. Ship back to our address at your expense.


4. Upon receipt and inspection (7-10 business days), we process eligible refunds.

5. Refunds

Full Refund are issued for eligible returns or confirmed defective products (mentioned in above section). Refund Amount includes product price but excludes original/return shipping fees, taxes, or duties. Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days of inspection/receipt to your original payment method. Bank processing may add 3-5 days.

- No Partial Refunds: Except in rare cases at our discretion (e.g., store credit for minor issues). ʉ۬

- No Refunds For: Cancellations after shipment, non-eligible returns, or change of mind.

Refunds will not be issued until we receive and verify the returned product and the cause.

6. Defective Product Inspection

We perform thorough testing before dispatching the product. The evidence of testing is shared with customers before dispatching the product. This testing already eliminates the defects.

If any other defects still occur: Once the product is returned, we perform a quality check to confirm the reported issue.

If confirmed, we issue a full refund. If no defect is found (e.g., user error), product returned to you at your expense, or held for pickup/store credit.

7. Shipping and Risk

- Original shipping fees are non-refundable. ʉ۬

- For approved returns, pack securely in original packaging to avoid damage. ʉ۬

- Risk of loss during return shipping is beared by you unless we provide a prepaid label for defects.

8. Exceptions and Limitations

- All sales are final except as stated. ʉ۬

- Warranty claims for defects beyond 3 days follow manufacturer/open source terms (see product page). ʉ۬

- International returns incur additional fees; contact support.

9. Changes to Policy

We may update this Policy. Changes apply to orders placed after the update date. Check the Site regularly.

10. Governing Law

Governed by Indian law. Disputes resolved in Bangalore courts, subject to Consumer Protection Act rights.
